This role involves operating state-of-the-art CNC beamline and bandsaw machinery to cut and shape metal components to precise specifications. The position is casual for the first 26 weeks, with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC beamline and bandsaw machines to accurately cut and shape metal materials. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machine settings and material requirements. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment. Requirements: Proven experience operating CNC beamline and bandsaw machinery in a metal fabrication environment. Strong understanding of metalworking principles and the ability to read technical drawings. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical fitness and handling heavy materials, and standing for extended periods.
