About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Laundry Hand/Cleaner to join our team at our residential facility in Horsham. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the facility, including resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other spaces. Laundry duties will also form part of your responsibilities, ensuring residents’ clothing and linen are cleaned, handled, and stored with care. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as tasks may vary based on resident needs. Your contribution will help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment that supports the health and well-being of our residents. About You: To be successful in this role, you’ll have at least one year of experience in a similar cleaning position, ideally within a commercial or residential care setting. Experience with laundry duties, including the safe handling, washing, drying, and storage of clothing and linen, is also essential. You’ll demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to confidentiality, and a sound understanding of safety protocols, including correct chemical usage and SDS compliance. Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and client needs is important, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to follow processes and instructions closely, are key to success in this role. All candidates are required to have a current National Police Clearance.
