The position Loreto Toorak invites applications from experienced and talented educators to join our dedicated team in the position of Head of Learning Diversity commencing Term 1 2026. This opportunity is offered as a full time, ongoing substantive position as Teacher with a three-year leadership appointment. The Head of Learning Diversity is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies that ensure inclusive educational practices, support diverse learning needs, and promote equitable opportunities for all students. This position focuses on creating a learning environment where every student, regardless of their learning differences or abilities, is able to thrive and reach their full potential. Importantly this position is responsible for linking curriculum and pastoral teams in the effective and coordinated support of student needs. Fostering creative and innovative thinking among colleagues while managing staff, supporting their growth and development, and managing the resources and programs in their area will be required. About You To excel in this position, you will need: Relevant post graduate qualifications and current VIT registration A deep understanding of inclusive education differentiated instruction and evidence-based practices to support diverse learners Excellent leadership skills and experience leading and managing high performing teams Experience leading curriculum development, pedagogy and curriculum implementation Highly developed interpersonal skills, negotiating, influencing and communication skills High levels of digital literacy Why work at Loreto Toorak?
