The Clinical Fellow will work across the breadth of services including providing Clinical Services, participating in Clinical Trials, and providing supervision and education to junior medical staff working in Medical Oncology. They will take on a leadership role in further developing a research collaborative and will lead a clinical research project within the Department, collaborating with other speciality services. Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north. Key Responsibilities include: Provide outpatient and inpatient Medical Oncology services at a level intermediary between the Advanced Trainee Registrars and Consultants Assist the Clinical Trials team in the review and co-ordination of patients on or being considered for clinical trials Assist the Consultant staff in the supervision and education of junior medical staff within the Medical Oncology team Work with the Consultant team to develop the Departmental research collaborative and research clinics. Salary rates: $6,334.30 - $6,980.10 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L10 - L13) (temporary full-time position, 76 hrs p.f.) for up to 12 months.
