Duties Providing high quality, practical and timely procurement advice and guidance that comply with the departmental policies and procedures, the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rules 2014. Ensuring the Department adheres to the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and ensure Value for Money in all procurement activity. Providing procurement advice and guidance to business areas on the procurement process - approach to market, conducting market search, contract mechanism and panel arrangements. Reviewing procurement documentation including Spending Proposals, Procurement Plans, Approach to Market documentation, S23(3) Delegate approvals, contracts/ work orders and risk assessments. Contributing to the reviewing, development and implementation of procurement systems, strategies, policies and processes and the preparation and implementation of the Section’s key performance measures and reporting requirements. Maintaining and promoting internal and external stakeholder relationships. Providing advice on Contract Management activities within the Department. Preferred Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting) Knowledge of the Resource Management Framework, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and their application.
