About the role: The Team Leader, Food, Tobacco & e-cigarettes, is responsible for leading a team and ensuring the effective delivery of regulatory functions in relation to food safety, tobacco and e-cigarettes. The Team Leader will use their knowledge and experience to support, coordinate and administer the team's regulatory functions and monitor and enforce compliance in accordance with the relevant legislation. About you: Certificate IV in Government Investigations, additional tertiary qualification in a relevant field (physics, science, regulation, law, environment) would be highly regarded. Experienced in leading, managing, coordinating and supporting multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to formulate and deliver compliance and evaluation strategies to address specific regulatory issues. Experienced in regulatory and public policy work as well as knowledge of relevant government legislation. Demonstrated experience in regulatory and public policy work, preferably related to registration, compliance, field investigations, gathering of admissible evidence and permitting functions as well as knowledge of relevant government legislation.
