This role is a key member of the site leadership team and is responsible for driving profitable growth by providing strong financial guidance, strategic insights, and operational support. This role will partner closely with site operations and leadership, delivering data-driven recommendations and maintaining strong governance. You'll ensure financial compliance, support cost management, lead budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to a customer-centric culture. Your main duties will include but not be limited to; Provide advice on financial impacts of site operations and activities Drive cost reduction initiatives with measurable KPIs (materials, labour, overheads) Mitigate financial risks with robust strategies and controls Manage budgets, forecasts, P&L, balance sheet, and monthly reporting Conduct costing, ROI analysis, and end-of-month/year procedures Maintain compliance with legislative, regulatory, and audit requirements Oversee intercompany banking transactions and fixed asset inventories Support external audit processes and ensure clean audit outcomes Build and strengthen internal and external customer relationships Lead training and development for finance team members Develop dashboards and performance scorecards for operational visibility Other ad hoc duties as per directed About the Person You are a commercially minded finance professional with a passion for partnering with operations and driving business performance. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are solutions-oriented, and have a proactive approach to risk and compliance. To be successful in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or CA qualification (or working towards it) Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial reporting Deep understanding of corporate governance and risk management Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/business software Ability to analyse complex data and present actionable insights Leadership skills with experience developing and training teams Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG or similar environment (highly desirable) Proven ability to work under pressure and make timely decisions Strong process management and organisational agility Benefits for You At Patties Food Group, we believe in taking care of our people.
