The Role We are looking for a motivated Graduate Law Clerk or Solicitor to join our growing Personal Injury team in our Perth CBD office on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 5:00pm. The program, which commences in February 2026, is a permanent, full-time opportunity for those who have completed their law degree, and are excited to take the next step in their legal career. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Working under the guidance of a senior practitioner to gain experience within the legal practice, by assisting in representing their clients, and providing accurate legal advice. Developing a proficient ability to effectively assess claims, including liability and quantum. Cultivating strong relationships with our clients and peers through exceptional communication. Preparing legal documentation with a high degree of detail, and assist with running a file load with a keen level of commercial and fiscal awareness. Experience and Capability Requirements: The role requires a hard-working candidate with an appetite to achieve great outcomes for our clients. The successful applicant will have: Have completed your law degree prior to the program commencing in February 2026. Have a passion for social justice and a thirst for knowledge in the plaintiff law space. Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Be dedicated to delivering exceptional client service, with an emphasis on helping people when they need it most. Be able to effectively manage multiple competing deadlines, within a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate a genuine interest in Shine’s areas of practice. Bring diversity of experience, and evidence of extra-curricular activities aligned with Shine’s work, such as volunteering or community work. Be an active member of relevant association/s will be favourably considered, as will paid and non-paid work experience in the legal field.
