A great opportunity exists for an experienced and proactive Senior Project Development Officer to take charge of delivering infrastructure and open space projects from concept through to pre-delivery. Based in East Gippsland, this full-time 6-month position offers the chance to drive impactful outcomes across the region and potentially extend your career. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the full development lifecycle of community and open space projects Prepare detailed designs, cost estimates, specifications, and tender documentation Liaise with stakeholders, consultants, and funding partners Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risks Ensure compliance with relevant design standards and policies Contribute to broader planning strategies and participate in community consultation About You You will be a proactive and organised professional with relevant tertiary qualifications and/or solid experience in project design and delivery. You bring a strong understanding of design standards, project planning, and infrastructure development, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. You’re comfortable preparing funding submissions, managing consultants and tender processes, and you hold a current Victorian driver’s licence.
