Principal Civil Engineer - Roads Identify and design asset solutions for roads, transport, traffic, drainage, bridge infrastructure projects Duties: Lead civil infrastructure design and management across roads, transport, traffic, drainage, bridge infrastructure projects Develop and review design specifications and advise engineers to deliver projects Work with the General Manager of Strategic Asset Performance to review results and identify areas for improvement Mentor engineering staff and promote continuous improvement Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) accreditation (essential) Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in civil engineering design Proven leadership in managing complex infrastructure projects and multidisciplinary teams Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, design standards 2. Principal Civil Engineer - Water and WasteWater Lead design, investigation, and management of water and wastewater infrastructure including reservoirs, water retaining structures, pump stations, hydraulics, water purification, and supply systems, ensuring optimal water quality and process efficiency. Duties: Lead design and investigation of water infrastructure including reservoirs, water retaining structures, and supply systems Oversee hydraulic modelling, water purification processes, and water quality management Work with the General Manager of Strategic Asset Performance to review results and identify areas for improvement Provide expert advice and ensure designs comply with legislation, engineering standards, and environmental requirements Deliver water infrastructure projects efficiently Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) accreditation (essential) Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in civil engineering water infrastructure projects Proven leadership in managing complex infrastructure projects and multidisciplinary teams Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, design standards Your expertise can drive real change - apply now and shape Gladstone’s tomorrow!
