We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Stores Person to join our team in Sydney, NSW . If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard. Your role This role's primary responsibility is to safely assist the Stores and Warehouse team in the daily operation of the aircraft maintenance stores supporting the aircraft engineers onsite. This includes: Goods inwards - Consignment receipt, order receiving, rejection of non-conforming products, batch document scanning/filing, stock return and tool check-ins; Storage - Segregation of aeronautical, commercial, hazardous and ESD products. Quarantine - Unserviceable product processing, monitoring rejected products, disposing of expired products, picking, packing and dispatching products to repair/overhaul vendors; Goods outwards - Manual issue of products to aircraft or work orders, picking, packing and dispatching products, freight forwarder liaison, and tool check-outs; Inventory control - Expiry reports, cyclic and annual stocktakes. The essential requirements We are not looking for just anyone. We are looking for an autonomous, passionate and experienced stores person who/with: Has a strong eye for detail (essential); Has a forklift licence (essential); Has Manual Drivers Licence 2 years experience with warehouse stock handling; Is active and medically fit to undertake the duties of this role including able to lift 20kg; Takes immense pride in delivering outstanding service to external and internal clients; Can work well in a diverse team; Ability to follow supervisory direction; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Consistent positive and proactive attitude; Passion for safe work practices; Flexibility to work shift rotations; ASIC card or has the ability to obtain; Shift will be Monday to Friday for first few weeks, then transition into a 4 on 4 off roster pattern Additional qualifications We are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in Sydney before applying.
