We’re seeking a dynamic, results-driven sales professional to drive strategic growth by expanding our employer partnerships, and maximise our market reach across key sectors including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, renewable energy and the defence industry. This highly influential role will report to the Manager, Workforce Programs and Partnerships and will be responsible for identifying opportunities to grow host employers for the GTO as well as building long-term, strategic relationships that align with PEER’s and Industry needs. Key Responsibilities: Identify new host employer opportunities growing PEER’s host employer portfolio. Lead business development process – prospecting and pitching, negotiation and contract execution. Stakeholder and industry engagement – representing the PEER brand at the highest level. Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key industry partners, government bodies, and employer groups. Serve as the key account manager to a dedicated group of host employers, delivering tailored workforce solutions. Maintain accurate records, notes and follow up actions within our CRM to support a proactive approach. Represent PEER at industry events, forums, and meetings to generate leads and enhance visibility. Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform growth strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery. What We’re Looking For: A proven track record in sales , business development , or account management Ability to develop and maintain strong B2B relationships. Strong communication and influencing skills. Self-starter with a passion for exceeding expectations. An expected level of professionalism as our host employers range from sole operators to defence primes. Insight into South Australia’s building and construction sector and/or defence industry is advantageous. Qualifications & Requirements Tertiary qualifications whilst valued, are not required for this position Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office skills.
