The Opportunity Based out of the Helensvale office, you will report to the Product Data Team Leader. A BOM Support Analyst is responsible for interpreting, translating, and maintaining product-related business data within an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The work done by the analyst allows the business to procure materials, manufacture products, and sell to customers. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Research and Development (R&D), Product Management, Procurement, Pricing and Operations teams to understand, implement, test and maintain Bill of Material (BOM) data for new and existing products in the ERP system(s). Build knowledge around the VENTORA products, processes, tools, and systems to deliver practical and technical solutions for a variety of product data problems and projects. Interact with databases and ERP programs (code) to ensure quality, accuracy, and confidentiality of product information. Receive, assess, and action requests to create, change or delete product data within an appropriate ticketing system. Follow established change management practices to ensure the integrity of data by testing changes and reviewing, providing feedback and signing off on peers’ work. Communicate appropriately, effectively and in a timely manner with peers, managers, corporate team members and business users. Suggest and contribute to internal and external operational improvements. Anticipate and assess the impact of changes to the business and technology environment on Product Data. Produce documentation on team practices, system procedures and business products for self and team reference. About You Bachelor’s or Master's qualification in an applicable IT, Data or Engineering field, or equivalent experience. Experience working in teams on tasks and projects of varying sizes. Demonstrated experience in juggling competing priorities. Experience communicating concepts to people of varying technical competencies, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated experience reading and writing code in the OpenEdge ABL programming language. Ability to use Service Now IT Service Management tools. Established experience working for a manufacturing business, preferably in building or construction. Familiarity with window and door construction methods and processes. Understanding of database concepts.
