About the role We’re growing our services and looking for dynamic, values-driven individuals to contribute to our innovation and expansion. Lutheran Care is preparing to launch a new service aimed at improving outcomes for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. As an innovative, specialised service, the role will develop and lead the team to provide support through culturally aware, trauma-informed, and person-centred approaches. The program is dedicated to: • Offering integrated, accessible, and coordinated services in partnership with other homelessness specialist organisations and connected services. • Incorporating lived experiences into the design and delivery of services. • Reducing both the duration and recurrence of homelessness. • Maintaining professional standards and fostering continuous quality improvement. • Cultivating a committed workforce that aligns with the program’s vision. • Providing relevant training and supervision to encourage staff development. Experience with staff management and leading teams. Ability to embed customer feedback into service delivery. an understanding of issues affecting local communities and the ongoing impacts of colonisation. an understanding of how to deliver trauma-informed services.
