Nadrasca joined with Brite in April 2025 to form cape group, a newly formed brand resulting from the merger of the two NDIS registered providers with a combined 120 years in operation across the eastern and northern suburbs. Together, we provide a range of services for people with disability, including home and living supports, social and community participation activities, youth employment assistance, supported employment, and NDIS support coordination. The Position Reporting to the Employment Supports & Outcomes Manager, as a Senior Employment Coach, you’ll be part of our Employment Services Team, supporting people with disability to achieve their vocational goals. You’ll work closely with supported employees, operational teams, and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, person-centered employment supports. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you’ll make a tangible impact every day. Key Responsibilities cape’s Senior Employment Coaches play a pivotal role in supporting people with disabilities to achieve meaningful employment outcomes. Your responsibilities will span across direct support, planning, training, compliance, and stakeholder engagement, including: Employee Support & Vocational Development: Identify each employee’s vocational goals and actively support their progress toward achieving them Participate in interviews, inductions, work trials, and wage assessments for new supported employees Provide ongoing coaching and support to help employees maintain their employment Deliver high-quality case notes and written communications that reflect progress and support needs Support employees in offsite work experiences and open employment opportunities Planning & Training: Administer annual Employee Assistance Plans (EAPs) and conduct 6-monthly reviews Identify and deliver training needs across the organisation, including “off-the-job” training sessions Support operational teams in placing employees in meaningful work or work-related activities Assist in the development of training strategies that lead to measurable improvements in employee outcomes Compliance & Administration: Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and all relevant legislation and codes of conduct Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including case notes, risk assessments, and progress reports Uphold professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality in all interactions Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with operational and employment services staff to meet employee and organisational goals Build strong relationships with external agencies, support networks, and service providers Foster a culture of cooperation and inclusion across internal teams and external stakeholders Team Leadership & Culture: Lead by example and contribute to a results-focused, collaborative, and professional team culture Share ideas and concepts clearly with clients and colleagues Support team performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Health & Safety: Promote and implement safe work practices in line with OHS legislation Engage in risk management planning and incident reporting to ensure a safe environment for all Other Duties: Represent cape positively in all external interactions Support transport of employees for work experience opportunities using cape’s minibus Undertake other reasonable duties as directed by the NDIS Employment & Training Lead What you’ll bring Certificate IV in Disability and/or Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent) Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role supporting people with disability Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and employment supports Ability to work collaboratively and build strong stakeholder relationships Current Victorian driver’s license NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Check What we can offer you A great working environment as part of a passionate and dedicated team As a registered charity, cape staff can access salary packaging benefits Training and professional development The opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference in people’s lives All applicants must hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and obtain a Working with Children Check prior to employment.
