We are looking to invest in building a team of highly motivated & talented individuals in Australia to accelerate the growth of our AI business. What You'll Do As an experienced salesperson with a strong network and existing relationships with AI startups/AI Labs in Australia, you will identify AI-start-ups/AI Labs that need AI infrastructure to not only build & train models but also for inference. With prior experience of having sold GPUs, networking, high performance computing in the cloud, you will be responsible for all aspects of the AI infrastructure Go To Market in Australia. You will be responsible for prospecting (identifying AI startups/AI labs with Series B funding), reaching out to key stakeholders (CEO/CTO/Founders), pitching (leverage your experience in GPU & Cloud sales for deep technical presentations) to create preference for OCI AI infrastructure, building out winning commercial constructs and as a strong negotiator close the deals. You will have a strong network of Private equity & Venture capitalists that provide funding to the AI- Startup/Labs and you will leverage this network to create opportunities for OCI AI infrastructure in the AI-Startup ecosystem, Who You'll Work With The success of the OCI AI infrastructure Go To market in Australia will be your primary responsibility and you need to work with extended teams & resources in Oracle ecosystem in Australia/APAC/Global for market development, pipeline generation & across the opportunity(s) life cycle. Who You Are As an experienced salesperson with a strong network and existing relationships with AI startups/AI Labs, Private Equity, Venture capitalists in Australia, If you enjoy taking on challenges in a Sales role to open new markets/segments with cutting edge cloud infrastructure & exploring unchartered territories, this role is for you. You need to have over 10 years of rich experience selling along with a strong background in Infrastructure (GPUs, High performance computing, Networking) and in depth understanding of the Generative AI domain (LLMs/tools/frameworks etc) having performed similar specialist sales roles in organizations like HPE/Dell/AWS/Azure . A go-getter Sales attitude is a must, know the competition, their strengths & weaknesses and keeping abreast of the developments in the AI-Gen AI market is a critical requirement. Experience & willingness to work in a fast-paced environment is a must. You exude a strong technical sales aptitude, have a sense of urgency & highly motivated to develop a multi-million dollar business. Have a positive attitude that is contagious & build positive relationships with customers and colleagues. You possess strong business acumen to spot opportunities for large AI Infrastructure deals where others see none. You are articulate & have a phenomenal communication/presentation skills. Responsibilities Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge. Qualifications Career Level - IC5
