About the roles We are seeking compassionate, dedicated people who will engage with people we support to understand their unique needs and preferences, ensuring their safety and upholding their human rights. Responsibilities Disability Support Worker: Implement support plans based on people’s needs, preferences and interests Support with all aspects of daily living such as personal care, hygiene and household duties Support people to get to their chosen activities, such as social events, work and appointments Administer medication Outcomes Lead (House Supervisor): Supervise the operations of the Supported Independent Living service with regular reporting to the Outcomes Manager Leading a team including rostering, performance management, records management, quality and compliance Lead and plan support for people with disability within their home and community, based on the goals of individual support plans Support individual choice, control and independence within their shared home environment Advocate within the broader community for inclusion, participation and respect for rights for people supported. Communicate effectively with people we support and their families Administer medication treatments and seek assistance according to protocols Qualifications, experience and motivation Willingness to learn new skills, undertake ongoing training Willingness to work as part of a team Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent qualification (advantageous) You will have, or be willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check Unrestricted Australian driver licence Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status, including booster (three doses required) Current First Aid Certificate with CPR We can help you obtain these if you don't have them.
