Description Facilities Coordinator – Southport, QLD Location: Southport, QLD Company: BGIS Employment Type: Full Time 40 hours per week, Permanent, On-Site BGIS is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Facilities Coordinator to join our team in Southport, Queensland . The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of facility management services, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment for both clients and staff. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance. Ensure all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are functioning effectively and efficiently. Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of services. Manage service requests and resolve facility-related issues in a timely manner. Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and resources. Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives and energy-saving measures. Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience in facilities management or a related field. Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance processes. Excellent organizational skills and communication (both written and verbal). Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations. A proactive approach with a strong customer service orientation. Why Join BGIS?
