Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits Adelaide SA, 5000 Full Time, Contracted Role up to 6 months About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Risk Management and Compliance Consultant to join the Clinical Governance team at Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Risk and Compliance, you will play a key role in coordinating and maintaining CALHN’s risk management and compliance frameworks. Your focus will be on identifying and evaluating organisational risks, maintaining the risk register, and delivering staff training to ensure a robust, organisation-wide approach to risk mitigation and compliance. Working closely with clinical programs and the Safety and Quality team, you will deliver education and advice to support local risk management initiatives and contribute to the development of efficient risk and compliance processes. You will also monitor mitigation strategies, generate risk reporting, and manage the compliance program to ensure alignment with the National Safety & Quality Standards and the broader vision and values of SA Health. This is an opportunity to use your expertise to enhance service delivery, organisational accountability, and continuous improvement across a large and complex health network. About You You are an experienced and strategic professional with a strong background in risk management and compliance within healthcare or complex service environments. Your leadership, analytical skills, and knowledge of governance frameworks equip you to drive improvements in patient safety and organisational accountability. Demonstrated leadership and high-level communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster cooperation across all levels of staff. Extensive experience developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical and/or corporate risk management and compliance programs. Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting risk data, applying ISO standards, and using Microsoft Office and related systems. Comprehensive knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks, public sector standards, and safety-of-care principles aligned to ISO 31000 and AS/ISO 19600.
