About you and this position We currently have two positions available in our highly skilled and passionate Green Assets team. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will play a hands-on role in the maintenance and care of high-profile areas, parks, gardens, ovals and green spaces across the city. This position involves working as part of a skilled team to deliver high-quality, sustainable landscape management, ensuring these valued community assets remain safe, attractive, and well-maintained. You will utilise your practical skills daily, assist with planning and coordinating tasks, and contribute to creating vibrant outdoor environments for the community to enjoy. As a successful candidate, you will have: Essential Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent qualification) partnered with extensive experience Current and valid Class MR Driver’s License or Higher Basic computer skills Broad experience in the operation of machinery, plant and equipment, hand and power tools Demonstrated people management experience. Desirable Chainsaw Competency Ticket Work zone Traffic Management Ticket Current Chem cert accreditation White Card Understanding of local government and Council’s structure, policies, functions and activities These two positions are available on a permanent full-time basis and are classified as a Grade 7 under the Campbelltown Field Staff Enterprise Agreement No 12, 2023 and the relevant Award.
