Description We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Business Analytics Manager to lead the enhancement of Breast Cancer Network Australia’s (BCNA) reporting and data management capabilities by driving data governance and utilising data analysis and quantitative methods to gain insights into business performance and support effective decision making. You will establish a new reporting framework in collaboration with senior managers that will provide information for each team to deliver their part of the strategic plan. Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the position has one direct report (Customer Systems Specialist), and will work closely with internal stakeholders, senior executives, and third-party vendors. Your key responsibilities will be to: Translate complex data into compelling insights that empower teams to make informed, data-driven decisions. Partner with executive leadership to define reporting needs and shape the data inputs that drive meaningful business outcomes. Develop and maintain consistent, accurate reporting from member databases and digital platforms to support both operational and strategic goals. Establish and uphold strong data governance practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability. Create reports that provide actionable insights to inform organisational strategy and improve performance. Contribute to the development of strategies that enhance outreach, engagement, and impact through data. Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve data management and guide reporting practices. Provide training and support on data tools, reporting systems, and governance to build analytics capability across the organisation. Supervise direct reports as required, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment. To thrive in this role, you’ll bring: Proven experience with business intelligence tools to develop dashboards, metrics, and reports. Strong proficiency in Salesforce and GA4 reporting is essential along with the ability to rapidly establish yourself as the expert in Salesforce dashboards and reporting; knowledge of Mouseflow is highly regarded. Solid understanding of web analytics, marketing automation, and website management tools. Experience with backend content management systems is a plus. A strong background in digital analytics, statistical analysis, and problem-solving with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for your stakeholders. Skills in developing interactive dashboards and reports using tools like GA4, Salesforce, spreadsheets, and BI platforms. Familiarity with SQL, R, Python, and other data tools. Strong computer literacy and understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bring colleagues with you on the journey of reporting and presenting complex information in a clear and strategic manner. Tertiary qualifications in IT, statistics, business analytics, or a related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in data analysis and report development, ideally in a non-profit or mission-driven environment. At least 5 years’ experience in web-based analytics, particularly GA4.
