Cummins specialises in Heavy Vehicle service, repairs and maintenance across mining, on-highway trucks, industrial and power generation Responsibilities In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Deliver a first-class service to our customersComplete service, repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products in our workshopSupport engine rebuildsDiagnose and repair various engines predominately across on-highway, industrial and power generationEnsure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Workshop ManagerComplete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screensBe part of a community of like-minded individuals, who value your input & are open to all viewpoints & communication Qualifications To be successful in this role you will need the following: Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards)Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Diesel Engines, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Construction or Agriculture desirable but not essential.Diagnostic and problem-solving capabilitiesBe a team player & be prepared to adhere to Cummins PoliciesEnsure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues / incidents to shift supervisors Compensation And Benefits Competitive hourly shift allowance rate paid as a permanent salary,Overtime penalties for all work above standardMonday to Friday 38-hour work week.Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) programIncome Protection continuance insuranceDiscounts with select private health insurancePC software/hardware and a range of vehicles.Annual remuneration reviews.Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms provided.
