You’ll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, working on large-scale, meaningful projects that shape the future of digital service delivery. As a Program Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and innovative solution architectures across a portfolio of digital transformation projects. You’ll work closely with enterprise architects, project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with strategic objectives and enterprise architecture standards. This is a long-term contract role based in Sydney, with a strong focus on on-site collaboration. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and deliver solution architectures that align with enterprise frameworks and project goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated technical designs. Lead technical design reviews and provide strategic guidance on architecture decisions. Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the project lifecycle. Act as the technical liaison with vendors and third-party providers. Ensure solutions are aligned with cloud-first strategies and emerging technologies. Support the development of architecture roadmaps, standards, and governance processes. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED 5 years of experience in solution architecture, including cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments. Strong knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks. Proven experience in large-scale digital transformation programs, ideally within the public sector. Expertise in integration architecture (API gateways, iPaaS, ETL, ESB) and modern development frameworks. Familiarity with virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, OpenShift). Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
