We are seeking a dynamic AD/Civil Team Leader to join our client in Perth. We’re recruiting for a leading engineering firm seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex projects, ensuring client satisfaction and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Develop and execute team strategies within the business plan. Manage project resources and ensure team members have the skills needed for success. Provide mentoring and coaching while overseeing employee lifecycle activities. Technical Design: Maintain a thorough understanding of industry standards and deliver innovative, high-quality designs. Regularly manage detailed designs and ensure compliance with construction practices. Financial Accountability: Own P&L for all projects, prepare management reports, and maintain timely invoicing and debt collection. Meet revenue and profitability targets. Client Management & Business Development: Lead business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships. Communicate effectively to understand and meet client needs. Project Management: Coordinate project resources to meet deadlines and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Manage budgets and financial reporting effectively. Quality Assurance: Ensure all work adheres to quality standards and risk management protocols. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA systems. Qualifications Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (essential) CPEng status (essential) Member of IE Australia (essential) Experience 7 years in the industry (essential) some experience in a team leader or management role (highly desirable) Skills & Knowledge Strong problem-solving abilities and innovative design solutions Experience critically assessing others’ designs Understanding of construction methods and their design implications Proven track record in writing tenders and proposals Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams Strong presentation skills, demonstrating credibility and commercial insight Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership techniques Familiarity with customer service principles, including needs assessment and quality standards Strong project management capabilities
