Introduction THE OPPORTUNITY. Canberra International Golf Centre sits within the Swing City portfolio which is part of the Mulpha Group (“Mulpha”), one of Australia’s most experienced real estate and hospitality investors with highly specialised operational management and development capability We are seeking experienced Duty Managers on a casual basis. In your role, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the “Golf Experience & Guest Experience,” and will achieve customer excellence through the effective leadership of the Guest Service team. RESPONSIBILITES Responsibility for the daily operations of the “golf experience”, and venue wide responsibilities for overall venue shift management including opening and closing the venue. Ensure daily budgets are achieved and cost are managed to ensure delivery overall financial targets. Ensure customer service is exceptional and encourages repeat visitation and utilisation of the multi venue options, including assisting in F&B or other departments as required. Manage service levels and continually seek improvement in the delivery of products/services that maximises customer experience and profitability. Passion for technology and understanding the role that technology plays in venue and the experience of our guests. Leadership of the guest service hosts to drive the customer experience, ensuring operational excellence, facility and equipment maintenance and utilisation of the multifaceted venue. Collaborate on operational enhancements, revenue initiatives and product improvement. Up sell and generate revenue through effective sales and service techniques. ABOUT YOU Solid experience in shift management within the attractions or entertainment environment. Superior customer service experience and previous experience leading a team within a customer service environment. Proven ability to influence revenue and manage costs daily. Exceptional communication skills. Experience in Food and Beverage. Pre-opening or relaunch experience – desirable. Technologically savvy and the ability to troubleshoot issues as the first point of call. Passion for Golf and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
