Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities. We are recruiting care staff for multiple positions in St. George (Southern Sydney) - Riverwood, Peakhurst, Lugarno, Mortdale, Beverly Hills, Penshurst, Hurstville, Connells Point, Kyle Bay, Blakehurst, Carss Park, Allawah, Ramsgate, Sans Souci, Sandringham and surrounding areas You will be reporting to the Sutherland branch and expected to travel across Sutherland Shire and St Gerorge areas as part of your role. What’s On Offer • Permanent Part time or Casual contracts available depending on your location and availability to work • $30.86 - $34.16 per hour (dependent on experience) 12% super travel allowance of $0.92 per KM paid travel time • Stable roster & opportunity to work extra hours based on business needs • Smartphone and Uniform – ready when you join us • A fully supported and paid Induction program • Fitness Passport - a discounted gym membership program (for eligible employees and their families) Your New Role: • Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with Personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime & medication prompting • Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation & assisted dressing • Transport: transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings • Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training • Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe Key Requirements: • Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle • Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday • Willing to travel across all suburbs that the branch services • Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin/ Vietnamese/ Spanish/ Arabic/ Lebanese/ Greek is valued but not mandatory • Experience in personal care and/or relevant qualifications would be highly regarded.
