About the Role As a Teacher Aide you will be required to: Display respect and empathy for students with high level needs. Support students in and out of the classroom, including during playground duty. Display confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families. Assist with personal care needs as required, including general health and safety of students - training will be provided. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and students to support positive outcomes. Support students with self-regulation and curriculum access. Support the use of reasonable adjustments for students with disability. Proven ability to work independently, achieving quality work outcomes. Demonstrated high-level communication skills.
