Are you interested in working with children aged 5 – 12 years in the OOSH sector and can bring your knowledge and teamwork skills to work with our OOSH Educators? Qualifications & experience Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or related field or relevant equivalent experience Experience within an Out of School Hours program Demonstrated experience leading a team in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. Tasks & responsibilities Manage the relevant OOSH Program staff performance and development, work planning, staff motivation and team development. To evaluate the OOSH service and facilitate change as appropriate. To ensure that the Program is accessible to children with additional needs. To ensure a suitable and viable service is provided to meet the needs of the community, in an efficient and effective manner. Observe requirements of the WHS Legislation, relevant to the job and adhere to AlburyCity Policies and Procedures regarding WHS. Hours Based on a 35-hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. Actual hours to be worked 9.30-6pm. Service hours of operation: After School Care during school terms • Monday to Friday, 1pm - 6pm. Before School Care during school terms • Monday to Friday, 7am – 9am. Vacation Program during School Holidays (38 hours per week during NSW School Holiday periods) Rosters prepared to incorporate the following spread of days and hours: • Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.30pm, staff on occasion may be asked to work split shifts.
