We have an opportunity for a Civil Drafter to join our Community Development team in Carrara. T his role will see you provide civil design services using AutoCAD for a wide variety of urban development projects . Our projects are located locally and throughout the Southeast Queensland region. Specifically, your responsibilities will include: Preparation of conceptual and detailed design drawings in accordance with statutory requirements and standards Civil engineering design for land subdivision, road and drainage projects using AutoCAD Participate in the delivery of projects and ensure output is of a high standard and within time and cost budget allocations Managing deliverables of a project including quality control and the coordination of drafting staff Providing input to the continuous improvement of our design and drafting standards Ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded About you To be successful you will display: Demonstrated Civil drafting experience within Urban, ideally in a consulting environment Demonstrated experience using design software including AutoCAD Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development 12 Design skills highly desirable What we offer Along with a competitive salary we offer many other benefits to ensure your professional development & wellbeing is ongoing.
