About the role The Pathways Advisor is responsible for delivering on the Victorian Early School Leaver Initiative, Career Advice Service with the Skills and Jobs Centre. Working closely with schools within the LGA to provide outreach and career advice for school-aged early school leavers to support secure transitions into, post-school education, training and employment pathways. You will: conduct sessions with clients identifying and advising of suitable training opportunities; complete quarterly and annual reports on program KPI’s, and participate in Community of Practice events; develop relationships and networks and liaise effectively with relevant community organisations; About you You will have d emonstrated experience in careers advisory or related field/s and the ability to provide vocational and careers guidance. In addition, you will have demonstrated presentation skills with the ability to deliver group workshops. You will possess: interpersonal and mentoring skills with the ability to communicate with individuals across all demographics; the ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders, take initiative, work independently as well as an effective member of a team; Microsoft Office software skills, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and email; and the ability to develop and maintain industry relationships and referral networks.
