We provide services and supports to adults, and families with accompanying children in the form of accommodation, case management, assertive outreach, financial assistance, community connection and referral services. About the role We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Support Worker, at our Northbridge location. Reporting to the Front of House Team Leader, this is a casual position that will assist in covering leave and abscences of our team. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award, level 3. You will successfully To support the implementation of the Homelessness Stream Model of Care that underpins services across the country and defines expectations and standards for those we serve, our partners and allies, and the Australian community. To provide support consistent with Homelessness and The Salvation Army standards and protocols. To provide accommodation information, emergency relief, mediation, referral and advocacy to all those requiring assistance. To record and input all data as per contract and policy requirements. To maintain a smooth service delivery model. Respect and develop professional relationships with clients, employees and other related services/people, using appropriate terminology and creating a safe and comfortable environment You will have (Requisite Skills & Qualifications) Certificate IV in Community Services Previous experience in Homelessness or Human Services sector. Current Senior First Aid Certificate. A national police check. An entitlement to work check.
