As a Plant Technician, you will operate the plant and equipment at the ASU (Air Separation Unit) safely and efficiently. Additionally, to monitor and operate the remote sites. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Operate the plant and equipment at the ASU safely and efficiently from DCS (Distributed Control System) Meet customer requirements for products (i.e. purity, pressure and flow), within safety limitations, by controlling and operating plant equipment Maintain and improve plant efficiency and integrity by monitoring and analysing equipment and reporting faults and improvement opportunities Perform plant stops and start and trouble-shooting as directed by the Facility Manager Coordinate with contracted and in-house maintenance staff while handling over/taking over equipment to/from them to ensure safety in work – carry on proper isolation of the system and do LOTO ( Lock out, tag out ). Complete daily plant logs, raising any issues with the Plant Manager Maintain site security by monitoring and controlling access to the site Are you a MATCH? Trade qualified (electrical, instrumentation or mechanical) Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering considered advantageous Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations such as dangerous goods/substances handling and OHS Process Operation experience Proven fault finding skills Computer literacy Knowledge of PLC Controls, Analysers and Plant Instrumentation Experience of planned maintenance Ability to understand process operations and mechanical equipment Experience working in a 24/7 continuous shift roster Experience with computerised maintenance management systems We OFFER?
