Fulltime A busy transport company is seeking a fulltime office allrounder, this role involves some bookkeeping and a compliance role to ensure that the company is meeting all accreditation requirements. Duties Managing the day-to-day accounting transactions Reconciliation, preparation and lodgement of monthly or quarterly business activity statements (BAS) Accounts Payable/ Receivable Processing payroll and other related payroll tasks Maintaining accurate records for Accreditation Monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, licensing, and company policies Conducting regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance issues Staying updated on changes in regulations and industry best practices. Skills and attributes: Experience across a wide range of accounting functions Strong level of accuracy & attention to detail Ability to take responsibility and be accountable for workload Able to work autonomously and as part of a broader team Ability to solve problems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong time management and prioritisation skills MYOB experience Previous transport experience highly desirable Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00 – $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 38 per week Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 04/07/2025
