Townsville Hospital and Health Service are seeking an experienced Operating Theatre Assistant to join the Operating Theatre Department at the Townsville University Hospital on a permanent part-time basis, working 38 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will be required to work am and pm shifts. About the opportunity The Operating Theatre Assistant assists nursing, medical and surgical staff within the 14 Operating theatre complex and outline areas to ensure a safe and efficient work area. This position includes frequent and repetitive lifting, manual handling of medical equipment and patients. Appropriate manual handling will be provided.
