We are a boutique village style not-for-profit facility located in Roselands, seeking an enthusiastic and proactive part-time (3 weekdays) Living Environment Officer to support the organisations service environment. About the role Our staff work holistically to provide high-quality care and services to our residents based on interactions that are engaging, compassionate and considerate to their individual needs, preferences, identity, culture & diversity. So if you are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents we would love to hear from you! · Oversee and support the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance & Domestic Services team to ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the facility meets regulatory and organisational standards. · Conduct regular inspections and room audits. · Allocate daily tasks and ensure rosters meet operational needs. · Monitor and control the departmental budget. · Ensure compliance with aged care standards, WHS legislation, and infection prevention and control requirements. · Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance tasks, cleaning schedules, preventative maintenance register, audits, incident reports, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
