About the Role As Director, you’ll guide a passionate team dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of every child. You’ll oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment. We are seeking someone with: A strong knowledge of and experience with: The Education and Care Services National Law Act and the Education and Care Services Regulations. The Quality Improvement and Assessment Rating System. Emergent Curriculum (EYLF – Early Years Learning Framework). Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. Anti-Discrimination and Workplace Health and Safety guidelines. Child and Youth Risk Management Strategy. An excellent ability to manage and motivate staff including demonstrated leadership skills, experience in delegation, negotiation, conflict resolution and supervision. Demonstrated knowledge of child development techniques and ability to work with young children. Advanced communication skills in verbal and written English. Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of software programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) and Kidsoft. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to diffuse conflict, use tact, and discretion and remain confidential.
