About this opportunity We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Lifestyle Coordinator to join our Care team at our Moran Stockton home. Permanent role, Monday to Friday 08:00am to 16:00pm, 37.5 hrs per week. As a member of the leadership team in our Stockton home, you will work closely with the Care Manager, and wider leadership team to provide high standard lifestyle and wellness services. The Lifestyle Co-ordinator is instrumental in creating opportunities for growth and development for our residents, to enrich their lives daily. You would be responsible for assessing, planning, and facilitating lifestyle engagement and practice at our Aged Care Home. This role includes developing and coordinating the delivery of our Lifestyle Programs through a dedicated team and working closely with on-site physiotherapists. Working with a wonderful team of dedicated people, your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of life. By developing programs that are fun, fulfilling, and meaningful, to enhance and maintain each person’s social, recreational, cultural and spiritual well-being. You will be supported and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us and to further develop your skills. Moran offers a rewarding work environment with modern facilities and equipment. Key Responsibilities: Program development and Implementation - Lifestyle and activities Develop lifestyle care plans suited to residents’ abilities and preferences Administration of activities and events, coordinating staff and volunteers Working with healthcare professionals and residents to assess individual needs and preferences. Supporting residents in maintaining cognitive function and physical activity. Stakeholder engagement – residents, families, community groups, other services Completing and Maintaining records of activities, participation levels, and feedback Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Skills/Requirements: Skills in event planning, organisation and people engagement are essential. Cert IV in Leisure and Health Experience in a similar role Good communication and interpersonal skills Genuine interest in talking to people and the ability to encourage others to enjoy their lives to their full capacity Ability to work as part of a team and attention to detail.
