Job Description The Data Visualisation and BI Developer is responsible for scoping, designing, building, and delivering data visualisation projects for the business and schools . This involves assisting in the development of data visualisation guidelines within Power BI and contributing to the governance of reporting and data visualisation in the business. WHAT YOU WILL DO Work with different internal MACS head office teams and schools, clarifying business requirements for business intelligence, data visualisation and reporting. Work with the internal data engineering team, ensuring that all appropriate raw data is available within the data platform for the proposed business intelligence initiative. Scope, design, develop and deliver Power BI Dashboards, reports and or apps for direct consumption and self service reporting for business users. Adhere to general industry technology standards and specific internal standards with regards to data modelling (fact dim models) and dashboard/report development. Educate stakeholders and business users on the utilization and consumption of Power BI Reports. ABOUT YOU Solid experience in developing business intelligence and analytical solutions. Practical working knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI. Experience in the development and consumption of analytical data models and general BI techniques. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to initiate practical solutions that are efficient and scalable, using a mix of technologies. Highly developed interpersonal skills and strong commitment to work collaboratively and respectfully within a multidisciplinary team. Well-developed written and oral communication skills with experience in preparing technical and user documentation.
