The key duties of the position include The Role The Defence Digital Group (DDG) Assistant Director of Communication is a key role with the Group to support the delivery and coordination of strategic internal communications and events. The role directly supports the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and DDG Senior Leaders in developing and delivering targeted communication to contribute to meeting Departmental strategic outcomes. The role will lead the coordination, development and implementation of communication and stakeholder strategies that enhance and support the service delivery of communication and engagement functions for DDG across a variety of channels to enhance direct communication with our people, industry and Defence. Engage with stakeholders across Defence on communication matters of varying complexity. Ensure consist messaging to stakeholders. Manage a variety of business reporting. Implement ongoing improvements to the group's communications function. Deliver other communications tasks as required.
