Description Key Responsibilities Support and enhance security awareness programs and incident response procedures Advise technical and non-technical stakeholders on security best practices and risk mitigation Monitor and fine-tune security controls; perform security analytics and threat hunting Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and forensic investigations Contribute to the implementation and review of corporate security policies Track and respond to industry trends and emerging threats Participate in ongoing governance activities, stand-ups, and stakeholder meetings Profile Skills & Experience 3 years in a cybersecurity role, with prior ICT experience Relevant tertiary qualification and certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001) Strong grasp of infrastructure hardening, secure development lifecycles, and incident response Experience with SIEM, DLP, EDR/XDR, CASB, and threat intelligence tools Solid understanding of standards such as ISO27001, NIST, ASD Top 8, and privacy legislation Practical experience with vulnerability scanning, policy audits, and Zero Trust principles Strong communication, critical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills Job Offer Competitive 6-month day rate, with potential for extension Work in a collaborative environment within the financial services industry.
