The Role We’re looking for a data-driven and proactive Payment Operations Manager with a background in finance, operations, or technology. You’ll play a critical role in leading and optimising ANNA’s Payments Operations function , working cross-functionally with teams across customer support, financial crime, finance, engineering, and product to ensure our payments run smoothly and efficiently. This is a high-impact role where you’ll have end-to-end responsibility for managing payment operations, from transaction reconciliation to improving internal processes. What You’ll Be Doing Oversee payment operations – manage daily transaction reconciliations, settlements, and warehouse funding structures to ensure smooth payment flows. Be the payments go-to person – work closely with engineering, product, and data teams to solve reconciliation-related issues and improve processes. Identify and implement improvements – use internal data and customer feedback to refine our payments infrastructure and operations. Manage card operations – track card inventory levels, oversee card features, and troubleshoot issues. Monitor chargebacks and disputes – track performance and ensure efficient resolution. Regulatory compliance – collaborate with risk and compliance teams to maintain regulatory adherence. Project and process management – lead key operational projects across payments and commercial teams. Support new product rollouts – assist the product team in launching new features and ensuring smooth operational execution. Set KPIs and SLAs – define and monitor key performance indicators to ensure optimal performance. LI-LS1 Requirements What We’re Looking For ✅ 3 years of experience in Payment Operations (ideally in fintech, banking, or a high-growth startup). ✅ Financial operations, accounting, or settlements experience , with knowledge of warehouse funding structures and securitisation. ✅ Advanced SQL & Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, IF formulas, sorting and analyzing data). ✅ Strong analytical mindset – experience in financial modeling, data analysis, or a similar function. ✅ Excellent problem-solving skills – ability to proactively identify process improvements and tackle complex challenges. ✅ High attention to detail – you spot inconsistencies others might miss and take action to resolve them. ✅ Strong communication skills – ability to explain financial processes clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. ✅ Resilience & adaptability – fintech moves fast, so you should be comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Bonus Points If You Have ✨ Experience with B2B SaaS or financial technology platforms. ✨ Previous experience with card issuing products (debit, credit, or pre-paid). ✨ Background in high-growth startups or financial institutions. ✨ A data-driven approach, ideally with experience as a Data Analyst or similar.
