Description Be part of a high performing team Location: Sydney Initial 6 months contract The opportunity The AWS.Net Developer will be helping us to build and run this exciting new division. You will have a multifaceted role that involves development activities across the software development lifecycle and production support activities. The role will primarily support in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise in .NET applications and Lambda running on AWS. This is contingent contract role working at AMP. About the role: Monitoring and managing AWS resources and services utilized by applications to ensure optimal performance Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise in .NET applications and Lambda running on AWS. Collaborating closely with team members to identify system requirements and understand user needs, in order to develop solutions that align with those requirements. Ensuring smooth integration and compatibility between Lamda’s and other AWS services Implementing best practices for security, scalability, and reliability of applications on AWS. Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in AWS services and integrating them into applications as needed. Participating in code reviews and offering technical insights and suggestions to enhance application performance and maintainability. Providing documentation and knowledge sharing to team members regarding AWS resources and their configuration for future reference. Actively participating in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings. Collaborating with other teams, such as DevOps and QA, to ensure smooth and efficient application deployment and testing. Job specific capabilities required: Good relationship development and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of different audiences Good written and verbal communication skills that supports working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment Good sense of curiosity and an inquisitive mindset focused on understanding the detail and how something does and should work Good interpersonal skills and situational awareness including the ability to challenge and question thinking in a positive manner Strong ability to analyse difficult problems and issues and identify solutions that improves or modifies existing processes or ways of working Proven learning agility with an ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly Ability to deal with ambiguity and make informed decisions without always having all of the necessary information About you: Senior .NET experience Experience working with AWS Services (key components: Lambda, XRay, CloudWatch, SQS, S3) Strong communications & analytical skills Good knowledge of core programming principles (design patterns, asynchronous operations, code performance) Knowledge of Git (Github) Ability to navigate around Github Actions & understanding of CI/CD processes (this is more of a nice-to-have feature which speeds up collaboration with the Cloud team) Working at AMP We are transforming our business.
