The Technology Sourcing Branch and Procurement Branch are seeking experienced staff with procurement and/or contract management skills to join the team. Procurement and/or Contract Management Officers within the Division work within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high quality delivery of a range of procurement and contract management activities. They have a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the consistent delivery of procurement and contract management services. The Branches have vacancies for Procurement and/or Contract Management Officers who bring experience in the following areas: Supporting the procurement from Standing Offer Panel arrangements, including but not limited to labour hire, management advisory services, hardware and software and Whole of Australian Government arrangements. Contract management and administration support. Interest and experience in these areas, or the ability to quickly gain skills, will be highly regarded. The key duties of the position include Providing advice and support to stakeholders to undertake a range of medium level complexity and risk-based procurement activities. Providing advice and support on the application of relevant legislative and administrative arrangements to inform efficient, effective, economical and ethical decision making in the agency. Undertaking procurement activities and or contract administration functions including preparation of simple contracts, official orders, variations and related correspondence on behalf of stakeholders. Maintaining stakeholder relationships to achieve work area goals, anticipating and responding. Effectively communicating procurement and contract management policy and guidance to stakeholders.
