About the role This is a key leadership role looking after the finance function of a private hospital reporting to the CEO. Managing a small diverse team, you will be a hands-on operator responsible for the overall financial management of the hospitals from a reporting, cash flow and financial management perspective. Duties Oversee the finance team and help drive improvements in financial reporting Manage P&L, balance sheet & cash flow in accordance with AASB and audit requirements Manage the month-end timetable ensuring accurate and timely deliverables Ownership of GL accounts and reconciliations in-line with external audit expectations Deliver analytics and insights in management packs to assist in decision making Lead the development and maintenance of financial accounting policies and procedure Conduct half yearly reviews with equity stakeholders Manage tax compliance (GST, Income Tax, FBT, BAS, Franking Credits), with assistance from external advisors Drive process improvement by automation of manual tasks and identify asset outsourcing opportunities Skills and Experience CA / CPA Qualified 10 years finance experience Hospital experience preferred Strong leadership skills with a growth mindset Excellent communication to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders Hands-on operator Self-motivated to drive function improvement About the company This company is a PE backed private hospital group focused on delivering direct care to support people in need.
