Opportunity for ongoing employment upon completion of apprenticeship Great team environment Providing service to Horsham and surrounding areas Skillinvest has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to undertake a full time Electrical Apprenticeship with Wades in Horsham. Our apprentice will receive ongoing mentoring whilst learning on-the-job and undertaking a 'Certificate III in Electrotechnology'. Duties Read electrical diagrams and plan layouts of wiring systems Test, locate and repair electrical malfunctions Install and assemble electrical and electronic systems and equipment as required Connect electrical equipment to power supplies, switches, outlets, circuit breakers etc. Assist to carry out installation of solar PV systems and other standard commercial and residential electrical work Use of a variety of technical equipment and tools Skills and Experience Enjoy mathematical and technical activities with an aptitude for mechanics and electronics Good eyesight (may be corrected) and normal colour vision Logical thinking and diagnostic ability Able to do precise and detailed work while working independently or as part of a team Able to cope with the physical demands of the job and the ability to work at heights Good communication skills For more information contact Shane Cross on 0418 564 890 for a confidential discussion.
