Our Air Quality team in Sydney is dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions for major projects, including in renewable energy, transport, water. Strong demand for our services throughout Australia and internationally has now created an exciting opportunity for a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join us. Your focus in this role will be in leading air quality assessments for an exciting variety of projects across all industries. This is also a great opportunity for you to support the continued growth of our team’s capabilities through mentoring, while applying your skills to help us create positive project and community outcomes. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Using your technical, project management and client relationship skills to lead and deliver small and medium Air Quality projects, and make a valued contribution to major projects Leading air quality assessments (e.g. heavy industry, ports, road, rail, energy, water, mining) Understanding client and project technical requirements, assisting to develop solutions, and preparation of technical reports, designs & specifications, client proposals and presentations Building and maintaining strong client relationships, including business development, and engagement throughout project delivery Fieldworks, data processing, report writing, meteorological and air dispersion modelling (using AERMOD and CALPUFF) Conducting appropriate technical reviews of models and reports prepared by junior staff in the team What you will bring to the team: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science, 5-12 years relevant post graduate experience in Air Quality assessments, ideally in a consulting environment The ability to lead and/or work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team across the project lifecycle Strong client relationship and project management skills, along with experience or an appetite for preparing winning proposals We’re open to discussing full time or part time options.
