More information can be found at rocp.com ABOUT THE JOB Reporting to the Director, Head of Wholesale Distribution, this role will be instrumental in driving fundraising and relationship management in the private wealth segment. You’ll lead our Melbourne presence and act as a key point of contact for wealth firms and intermediaries, helping shape the firm’s go-to-market strategy for wholesale distribution. Key Responsibilities: Raise capital across Roc Partners’ private market offerings through established and new relationships in the wealth management space. Manage and grow relationships with independent financial advisers (IFAs), wealth managers, private banks, and family offices. Serve as the local lead for our Melbourne office, driving new business development initiatives. Deliver engaging presentations and manage investor due diligence processes. Collaborate with internal teams (Investments, Operations, Marketing, Compliance) to support product launches and investor onboarding. Maintain CRM systems with accurate and timely client interaction records. Represent Roc Partners at industry events and conferences, with selective domestic travel. ABOUT YOU You are a confident and strategic communicator with a passion for private markets and investor engagement. QUALIFICATIONS/CRITERIA A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce or related discipline from a leading university. Minimum of 5 years' experience in capital raising, business development or investor relations—preferably within private equity, alternatives, or broader asset management. Demonstrated network within the private wealth ecosystem (IFAs, private banks, family offices, etc.). Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex strategies to wholesale audiences. Knowledge of private market investment structures and how they fit within client portfolios. Proficiency with CRM systems and investor reporting processes. WHY JOIN US?
