About the Role: As NPE continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Submersible Pump – Trade Assistant who will involves assisting tradespeople with the repair, assembly, testing, and maintenance of plants and equipment to ensure our fleet is ready for rent. Additionally, you will provide support in line with operational requirements, including operating a forklift for loading and unloading our fleet, as well as performing general housekeeping duties. Key Responsibilities: • Assist tradesperson with effective maintenance & repair of plant and equipment • Ensuring delivery schedules are met in a timely manner • Perform assembly and dismantling operations • Transport tools, materials and work pieces to and from work sites • Spray-painting of equipment • Clean and prepare work surfaces • Conduct general workshop/yard cleanliness, tidiness and litter management • Ensure timely completion for all inspection, testing, safety, delivery and purchasing paperwork is completed in full • Inspections and assessments of returned fleet for damage and escalating to tradesperson where required • Provide support to tradesperson/s for ad-hoc servicing, installs and repairs in the field as required • Manage OH&S and environmental hazards in the workplace and off site Skills and Experience: Essential: • Current driver's license • Current forklift License • Excellent time management and an ability to juggle multiple competing priorities • Well developed communication skills • Ability to work with flexibility and initiative with limited direction or supervision • Ability to work well with other team members and champion the NPE brand Desirable: • Experience in the Rental, Mining, Construction or Heavy industries • High Risk, working at heights and first aid would be beneficial Benefits: We believe in providing a great employee experience.
