About the role: We are seeking a capable and hands-on Operations Supervisor to manage day-to-day workshop and logistics operations at their NSW base. Based in Thornton, this role plays a key part in ensuring the readiness, compliance, and quality of equipment being deployed to major infrastructure and construction projects. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing operational oversight with team leadership, safety compliance, and customer support. Key Duties: Oversee workshop operations, equipment servicing, and logistics planning to ensure operational efficiency and safety Supervise warehouse and yard staff while coordinating daily workloads and workflow priorities Monitor inventory levels, equipment readiness, and scheduling requirements across multiple projects Ensure all quality, WHS, and environmental standards are maintained and audited as required Work collaboratively with the technical sales and project coordination teams to meet client needs Skills & Experience: Strong operational or logistics background, ideally with experience in civil construction or equipment hire Proven leadership capabilities and ability to supervise a small team in a workshop/yard environment High level of organisation, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality standards Proficient in basic computer systems (MS Office, inventory software, or job management platforms) Full driver’s, fork lift & overhead crane Licence essential How to apply: Click “Apply” to submit your resume or to find out more contact Ryan Muir on 0431 818 022 or email ryan@peterjacob.com.au .
