About the Opportunity We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Operator-Maintainers (Electrical) to join the Gregory Mine Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP). Duties will include but not be limited to the following: Operating the CHPP to deliver on specification product and to optimise production (plant areas covered include: Top Floor, Bottom Floor, Control Room, Yard and Train Load Out). Performing production tasks include inspections, trouble-shooting of production issues, machinery operation and cleaning activities to maintain housekeeping standards. Maintaining CHPP equipment including online maintenance activities, during scheduled maintenance windows and first response for equipment breakdowns. Identifying and rectifying hazards, damage and defects. Assisting the CHPP crew with other duties within the scope of training, skill and competence as required by the Supervisor. About you As a successful candidate, you will be a team player who prioritises safety always. While understanding your role and how you impact upon the achievement of team objectives, you will prioritise tasks and maintain compliance with site policies and procedures at all times. The successful candidates will display the following skills, experience, attributes and qualifications: Demonstrated experience in CHPP operational and/or maintenance activities. Control Room Operation and Train Load Out Operation competencies. Operation experience and licences for machinery such as stockpile dozers, loaders, skid steer, forklift and excavators. Australian recognised trade qualification (Queensland Electrical licence). High Voltage Switching. RII Working at Heights and Confined Space competencies. High-Risk Work licences (eg. Elevated Work Platform or crane operation). Current Australian Drivers Licence. Demonstrated commitment to personal and team safety. Ability to work in a multi-skilled team environment.
